Meet Scott

“Scott is a master motivator. He has a history of engaging people in the process of moving to higher levels of success. His engaging combination of humor and enthusiasm will compel you to take action and find more success in your life.”– Dan Miller, Author 48 Days to the Work You Love

What do you get when you cross Brian Tracy, Billy Graham and Jim Carrey? You get Scott Newton Smith.

Now 20 years into a high-demand speaking ministry, Scott has traveled the country and the world living the Untethered Lifestyle. For eight years Scott and his family (yes, you can be mobile with family) lived on a forty-five foot RV, living his passion and call while seeing the sites. Today, Scott continues to travel while expressing his gifts and keeping his options always open.

His church-based speaking and writing centers around taking age-old, Bibliocentric, practical principles to audiences everywhere, motivating them to live as fulfilled, victorious “stewards” of life.

Scott keeps “latitude in his longitude” by making sure that his activities allow him to function anywhere in the world, such as co-hosting the hit online radio show and coaching network for church leaders, The Sermonators.

To stay mobile, Scott leverages technology, systems, outsources and assistants to maximize his Life Purpose and to live The Untethered Life. He has a passion for showing others how to find their calling and “unhook,” to live the life they were meant to live.

Scott states, “The abundant life that is available to us came at a high personal cost to Jesus. We’re under Divine mandate to maximize that abundant life and live it out in it’s fullness. God has allowed us the opportunity to live in a time of having the greatest options for living out our passion and calling in a geographically unrestricted way. Going into ‘all the world’ is now easier than ever — and you can stay for months if you want to leave when ready.”

Scott continues, “A certain number of us have ‘go-juice’ in our veins and living the abundant life must include geographic latitude. It’s just ‘the way it should be’ to these types of people. We don’t just see a town, we see the world and want to go there. Now, more than ever, that is possible, without sacrificing income or stability.”

The same passion, humor, insight and practical application that has made Scott a highly sought after communicator for audiences everywhere are available to you, one-on-one, to help you achieve the desired results that have been delayed far too long in your life.

As your coach, Scott is equipped to assist you in discovering your God-given “hard-wiring,” and then to educate and motivate you on how to take action to make your “mobile dreams” a reality. He is laser-focused in determining where you ARE, where you DESIRE TO BE and designing a solid, workable “HOW” in order to get you there.

Kiss the cubicle goodbye. Welcome to the Information Age.

From discovery to clarification to implementation, Scott is ready and able as a personal guide on your journey to the Untethered Life You’ll Love.

Scott is an eager learner, trainer, motivator, writer, and internet entrepreneur. Scott has also served as president of SNS Ministries, Inc. for over a decade. Beyond that, he is a husband, a father and a Christ-follower.

Scott (currently) resides with his family in view of the Great Smoky Mountains.

As it relates to you, he is potentially your personal guide to get you from where you are to living The Untethered Life.

Testimonials

“Today was a day I felt as though giving up. You have given me the needed strength to continue the fight. God bless you and your whole family.”
- Carole T.
“I want you to know that God really used you to touch my life during the meeting at our church. I wasn’t able to come to any of the evening services due to classes…but I purchased the tapes. The tapes have been sitting on my table for a couple of weeks…today I decided to listen to the Monday evening service. I have felt so abandoned these past weeks and felt that my prayers often dissolved in mid-air…as I have listened to the message I found that God can still use me. Your message has meant so much to me today. Thank you for doing what God has called you to do. I will continue to pray for this ministry in the days ahead. God bless you and your family.”
- Nancy U.

“Scott, I just wanted to tell you that Cody, our nine year old (he”ll be ten tomorrow), really enjoyed and learned a lot from you. He can even quote parts of the talk you gave by heart! He”s told his friends and even some of our friends what he learned. He”s mentioned several times how it helped him understand and do better. How can I say thank you for that? Thank you for listening to God and presenting His Word to us in such a way that even my child could understand. That means that us adults have no reason not to heed it.
- Sherry S.
